What is Mental Health First Aid (MHFA)?
Mental Health First Aid is an internationally recognised training course. Much like with physical first aid, it’s not about diagnosing or treating poor mental health but about teaching people how to spot the signs and symptoms and provide immediate first level support to individuals until they can access professional help.

Course Details:

  • Duration: 14 hours (4 x 3.5-hour online sessions, delivered over two weeks)
  • Dates/Times: 9th, 11th, 16th and 18th June, 1:30pm-5:00pm (attendees must attend all four sessions to complete the training)
  • Format: Live, interactive virtual training via Zoom
  • Includes: A comprehensive workbook, interactive toolkit and access to the MHFAider Support App® for three years.
