The menopause.

It affects over half the working-age population and results in the loss of 14 million working days every year. Up to a third of women experience severe symptoms that impact on their quality of life, while 1 in 4 consider leaving their jobs because of their symptoms.

Despite this, it remains a taboo subject that many of us find difficult to talk about, particularly within the workplace. There is still a general lack of awareness and understanding about the menopause and perimenopause and many menopausal people still find it difficult to access the information and help they need to be able to manage their symptoms at work.

That needs to change, and we want to do our bit to help.
